Galatasaray drop points against Eskisehirspor

Galatasaray failed to extend their perfect streak in the Turkish Super Lig, as the Istanbul side only managed a 1-1 draw with Eskisehirspor.

After Fenerbahce's 1-2 win at Antalyaspor on Saturday, Galatasaray knew that they too needed a win in order to stay in shared first place.

Congolese striker Shabani Nonda found the target after 38 minutes but Eskisehirspor, who haven't lost a single match this season, equalized through Mehmet Yilmaz in the 56th.

'Fener' no longer have to share their lead with a perfect 21 points from seven games. Galatasaray follow at two points, and Bursaspor are 'the best of the rest' at eight points from the leaders.

It was the worst performance of the season so far. We did not play good today as we did in our previous matches and consequently we are two points behind of rival club Fenerbahce. That sucks!
