Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson is aiming high and could bring in a "big-name" signing this summer.

Eriksson, whose spending is fuelled by the millions of Thai owner Thaksin Shinawatra, is determined not only to bring European football to Eastlands in the future, but the Champions League.

"That is one of the things we are discussing," said Eriksson.
