Greece forward Ioannis Amanatidis has pledged his future to Eintracht Frankfurt by signing a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Bundesliga club until 2012.
he 26-year-old forward, who scored twice in ten UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying appearances as his side won Group C, has spent his entire career in Germany and rejoined Eintracht – where he scored six goals in 15 league appearances in 2003/04 – from 1. FC Kaiserslautern in summer 2005. He has scored 28 goals in the last three seasons, taking his Bundesliga total to 46 goals in 160 appearances.
