CHESTERFIELD, Oct 24 (SW) - League One side Chesterfield have again eliminated a Premiership team in the Carling Cup. West Ham United were defeated 2-1.
A month after beating Manchester City, it was now troubled West Ham to be sent home by Roy McFarland's side in the third round.
The visiting side did take the lead through Marlon Harewood after just four minutes, but Colin Larkin levelled the score in the 54th.
The winning goal came from Caleb Folan with three minutes left to play in regular time.
