TREVISO, Aug 13 (SW) - Treviso are preparing well for the new campaign with the triple signing of midfielders Emanuele and Antonio Filippini and Brazilian youngster Andre Da Silva Pinga.
The Filippini twins spent last season on loan at Lazio, with Palermo now deciding to end their relationship with the brothers. Pinga meanwhile, was signed on a free transfer following Torino’s ongoing financial problems and may prove to be one of the bargains of the summer. Having been tracked by Juventus and Inter in recent times, the Brazilian should prove an instant hit at the Stadio Tenni.
The triple signing comes on the back of news that defenders Andrea Dossena (Verona) and Stefano Lorenzi (Atalanta) will also join the club.
Treviso has won their Serie A opportunity thanks to Genoa’s enforced relegation to Serie C1 following match-fixing allegations. Whilst the port club are launching another appeal to win back their position, it is unlikely that they will succeed.
